How to Clean Q2 Stains

Q2 fabrics can be cleaned without the use of special cleaning agents.

Common Household Stains
  • Oil-based stains like Ketchup, Mustard, Red Wine or Chocolate can be removed with conventional detergents such as Tide(R), All(R) or Gain(R).
  • Fresh stains should be removed with a clean cloth.
  • Dried-on stains should be soaked prior to cleaning.
  • Wash off the stain with the soapy solution using a sponge.
  • Wash off remaining soap with plenty of clean water.

Solvent-Based Stains

  • Solvent-based stains like Lipstick, Nail Polish, Ballpoint Pen, Felt Tip Pen or Shoe Polish can be removed with 100% pure acetone.
  • Carefully apply acetone around the stain.
  • Absorb with a soft, clean, white absorbent cloth as soon as stain dissolves.
  • You may need to repeat if stubborn stain.
  • Acetone will disappear completely.

Discoloring Stains

  • Discoloring caused by the crocking of dye stuffs - like denim dye transfer - can be removed using a solution of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water.
  • Dab discolored area with bleach solution.
  • Particles will be dissolved within 15-20 minutes.
  • Absorb the dissolved dye stuff particles with a clean, white cloth.
  • Thoroughly rinse out remaining bleach solution.
